The official opening of the picture exhibition, featuring stunning photography by Gabriel Haering, was a memorable and successful event. Despite the rainy weather that plagued the afternoon, the skies cleared just in time for the vernissage, allowing nearly 50 guests to join the celebration.

Gabriel Haering, the talented photographer behind the breathtaking images, was present at the exhibition, sharing his experiences and insights with the attendees. His captivating works, many of which depict the beauty and wildlife of Africa, were the main attraction, drawing numerous questions from the guests eager to learn more about the stories behind the photos. Haering's passion for wildlife and nature was palpable, as he took the time to explain the context of each image, from the challenges of capturing elusive animals to the unpredictable nature of the African wilderness.

Esther Stella, the Chairman of ATKYE (Associazione Ticino Kenya Youth Education), was also in attendance, adding a special touch to the event. ATKYE, a non-profit organization focused on supporting education and conservation efforts in Kenya, played a vital role in organizing the event and supporting the cause behind it.

The atmosphere was lively and warm, with a delightful buffet offered by ATKYE and drinks served throughout the evening. Guests mingled, admired the artwork, and discussed the powerful messages conveyed through Haering’s photography. The exhibition not only showcased fine art but also highlighted the importance of wildlife conservation and education, causes close to both ATKYE and Gabriel Haering.

The evening concluded on a high note, leaving guests inspired and eager to support the vital work of ATKYE and the talented photographer behind the lens.

And last but not least, two pictures were already sold the first day.
